The figures from the US Bureau of Work Statistical data show there are over 19,000,000 Hispanics in the North American offices.
Research has shown that over half are Spanish language dominant. At work, this creates a substantial language and cultural opening between management and the non-English talking Hispanic workforce. For many first generation front line Hispanic workers, the language barrier presents a substantial challenge. The lack of ability to communicate efficiently in English prohibits them from developing further leadership and team building skills as well as improving the standard of their working life. (more…)
